About the Company
ECC Consulting was founded by Harry Steinberg in 1988 as Educational Construction Consultants. The company specialized in design and construction management work for smaller school districts and municipalities that did not have full time employees dedicated to this work. The company branched into ECC Real Estate Inspection in 1990. At this time there were very few state licensed Real Estate Inspectors (As seen by Harry's license number 2650). Even fewer companies had the ability to perform commercial and industrial inspections, and ECC Consulting found a unique niche. As the company grew and gained name recognition in 1993 the company formed an Residential Appraisal branch. However, in order to focus on Inspections, this area of operations was ended in 1996. ECC Consulting now specializes in Roofing Consulting and Real Estate Inspection. In fact, many other inspectors will refer commercial and industrial inspections to ECC Consulting. Over the last eighteen years ECC Consulting has performed thousands of inspections throughout the Houston area.
